Silicone resins are branched oligosiloxanes with high Si–O bond energy. They are widely used in pressure-sensitive adhesives, silicone rubbers, coatings and additives.

These resins can resist temperatures up to 350°C – 600°C and provide excellent oxidation resistance, weatherability and water repellency.

Silicone resins are primarily used as hydrophobic agents for building protection, heat-resistant coatings, composite materials, plastics and textiles.

They are ideal where high thermal stability and long-term durability are required.
