Silicone Water Coat

Supreme Silicone's Water Repellent Exterior Coat AQUAREST WR 1100 is a solvent less, water- soluble, Silane Siloxane Emulsion. Dilute solutions of WR 1100 serve as general-purpose water repellents for impregnating and priming mineral surfaces. As water-repellent primer for emulsion paints and plasters, silicone resin, Emulsion paints and silicone resin plasters, as well as for concrete coatings.

How To Use

WR 1100 emulsion contains a stabilized mixture of silane and Siloxane that are susceptible to hydrolysis. Hydrolysis occurs only after application to the substrate, which breaks the emulsion. Alcohol is released and the emulsion is converted into a silicone resin water repellent. It reduces the capillary absorption of the building which it has penetrated, but does not clog pore or capillaries. There is therefore little or no impairment of the building material's ability to "breathe". .

WR 1100 is diluted with Water. We recommend the dilution ratio of 1: 5 to 1: 12), the exact figure depending on how absorbent the substrate is. For adequate penetration on very high quality concrete, it may be necessary to dilute only 1: 2. Apply the solution in the usual way; flooding is the preferred way. Two "wet on wet" coats are needed to ensure complete coverage.

Storage & Shelf Life

When stored bellow 35°C away from direct Sun Light in the original unopened containers, WR 1100 has a usable life of 6 months from the date of manufacturing.
