How to Use

SS RH 100 is usually applied from dilute solution. Solutions are prepared by diluting solvents like acetone or methyl ethyl ketone and stirring the mixture gently until uniform. Extent of dilution depends on surface & properties required.

Curing

Coatings of SS RH 100 are heat cured to develop release / water repellency. Curing temperature range 120°C to 175°C. Higher temp = faster curing. Catalysts are often used to accelerate cure.

Shelf Life

12 months in original container.

Storage & Handling Precautions

May evolve hydrogen gas in presence of catalyst & heat when in contact with “HO-R”.
Catalysts include: Bases, acids, heavy metal salts, polar ionic salts, transition metal salts.
Refer MSDS for safe handling.
