Silicone Finishing Agent

OMS 280D is Silicone that is primarily used to Maintain uniform pigment dispersion. Prevents separation problems like pigment floating, flooding, Silking and provides Mar resistance. Reduces surface friction of coating by imparting a high degree of slip. The scratch resistance of the coating improves significantly. Coats the individual pigment particles to prevent them from coalescing. The additive prevents one pigment of a multi-pigment system from agglomerating in masses or floating to the surface of the paint film.

RECOMMENDED DOSEAGES SS OMS 280D should be used 0.05 % to 0.5 % weight percent based on the total formulation

Usable Life & Storage

Store the original container in a cool and dry place. Shelf life in the original unopened containers, when stored at or below 25C, is 2 years
